USCAR Publishes Automotive Semiconductor Device Standardization White Paper – Part 2

USCAR today announced it has published a white paper, “Automotive Semiconductor Device Standardization – Part 2.” This is USCAR’s second white paper recommending standardization of a select subset of legacy semiconductor technologies. In addition to the CAN and LIN transceivers noted in the first white paper, Part 2 now covers other devices including: BJTs, diodes, MOSFETs, LDOs and operational amplifiers. The intention of this paper is the enhancement of supply chain resilience, with a secondary goal of reducing costs across the industry.
