Welcome to the official Web page of the Non-Destructive Evaluation Steering Committee.
Mission
The mission of the Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Steering Committee is to:
- Identify significant automotive NDE/Non-Destructive Test (NDT) issues and needs, including process monitoring.
- Prioritize and recommend collaborative, non-competitive research, development and demonstration projects which lead to the resolution of the identified issues and needs.
- Provide input to USAMP, FreedomCAR and USCAR activities.
Goals
The committee will focus on developing technologies that are robust, cost effective, and are applicable in the high volume automotive production environments, and which are consistent with the program goals of USAMP, FreedomCAR and USCAR.
